VINCI Energies, a global leader in energy and information technology services, announces its intention to acquire EnergoBit Group, a prominent Romanian energy solutions provider, as part of its strategic expansion in Central and Eastern Europe.

EnergoBit Group was founded in 1990 and currently comprises three companies: EnergoBit, EnergoBit Control Systems, and ELM Electromontaj Cluj, which together generated a consolidated turnover of EUR 100 million in 2024. The group employs 825 professionals, including 270 engineers, reflecting its strong technical expertise and operational capacity in the energy sector.

This acquisition would mark a significant milestone in VINCI Energies’ commitment to supporting the energy transition and infrastructure modernization in Romania. EnergoBit Group is recognized for its excellence in engineering, manufacturing, and integration of electrical systems, serving both public and private sector clients.

The acquisition agreement between the founders of EnergoBit Stefan GADOLA, Pál PÉTER, Ioan SOCEA and representatives of VINCI Energies was signed on 16 July 2025 in Bucharest. The transaction is expected to be completed in November 2025, following the approval of the antitrust authority. Through the acquisition of EnergoBit, VINCI Energies will significantly reinforce its presence in Romania, where it currently employs 1,500 people and generated a turnover of more than 150 million euros in 2024.

Florin POP, CEO of EnergoBit Group, together with the existing Management Team, will continue in their role and the founders of EnergoBit will continue to hold leading positions in the company following the completion of the acquisition to ensure a proper transition. “Our goal is to secure the company’s ongoing growth and long-term stability.
