The new EU Data Protection Act (GDPR) has its effects since 25 May 2018. This law represents the biggest change in personal data protection in the last 20 years and has objectives that go far beyond just protecting private space.

In the showrooms, possible personal data to be processed are: name, surname, e-mail address, phone number, possible image, CI data, home address, date and place of birth, CNP, ID/passport number and series.

VINCI Energies Romania undertakes to comply with the principles of personal data protection (hereinafter referred to as the “Principles”) set out in the GDPR to ensure that all data are:

1. Prepared in a fair, legal and transparent manner;

2. Collected for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes;

2. For the purpose of fulfilling legal obligations – According to art. 6 par. 1 lit. c) GDPR may process personal data for the purpose of fulfilling legal obligations. We request a series of personal data, including, in some cases, the personal numeric code, in order to fulfill our tax authorities’ obligations regarding invoicing and reporting to tax authorities.

3. For marketing purposes – According to art. 6 par. 1 lit. a) GDPR may process personal data if the data subject has given his / her consent to the processing of his / her personal data for one or more specific purposes. Thus, in some situations, your personal data will be used to send you marketing messages, offers, news, future campaigns, invitations to various events.

4. For the purpose of fulfilling our object of activity – According to art. 6 par. 1 lit. a) GDPR may process personal data if the data subject has given his / her consent to the processing of his / her personal data for one or more specific purposes. Thus, we may contact you or we may transmit your personal data in order to achieve our object of activity. We will contact you whenever we consider that we have current information from the electrical installations and / or promotions industry.
